Sprintin throws a jab but it's blocked by Hanselman. Hanselman tries to move into range but Sprintin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hanselman misses with a wild body shot. Hanselman lands a jab to Sprintin's midsection. Hanselman fails in his attempt to clinch. Hanselman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hanselman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sprintin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hanselman.
Stevie Hanselman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanselman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hanselman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hanselman scores with a nice right hand.

and Sprintin rattles Hanselman with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Hanselman tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Sprintin dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Hanselman stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Phil Sprintin! A very excited looking Phil Sprintin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kersikov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hanselman misses with a two punch combination.

Borrisinov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hanselman defends well and Borrisinov ends up having to push Hanselman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hanselman feinted with a counter takedown. Stevie Hanselman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Volodimir Borrisinov. #R1# Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet. Harris thinks about the counter body kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hanselman is defended easily by Harris. Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Hanselman circles away.
