Yalixqua fakes the leg kick and cracks Glez in the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Yalixqua darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice body kick from Yalixqua.
Glez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Yalixqua. That one must have hurt.
Yalixqua has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. in the buildup to the fight.
Glez looks winded!
Yalixqua drops Glez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Yalixqua follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Nevemore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Glez on the side of the head.
Glez throws a shot from downtown. Nevemore moves away and avoids it.
Glez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nevemore tries to clinch but Glez is having none of it.
Nevemore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nevemore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nevemore chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nevemore buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Glez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
