Horrible takedown attempt by Tavares or perhaps it was just good defense by Gimenes, which made it look bad.
A quick step to the side and Gimenes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Levins tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gimenes defends well and Levins ends up having to push Gimenes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gimenes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Levins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gimenes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
