Red closes the distance and clinches.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Red just misses with a elbow thrown towards Benjamin's brow.
Red lands an elbow inside.
Benjamin is looking to break free of the clinch but Red has double underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Benjamin takes an elbow to the temple.
Red pushes off an throws an elbow but Benjamin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Benjamin's coach down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Benjamin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Legend Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Benjamin tries to counter by clinching up but Legend Jr breaks away and moves out of range.#TD#
Benjamin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#SUB2#

Benjamin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.#SUB2#

Legend Jr has a hand on Benjamin's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Benjamin takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Legend Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Benjamin prevents Kuznetsov from improving his position.

Benjamin winds up and cracks Kuznetsov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Benjamin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
