Ozumab cracks Chong with a right hand to the side of the head.
Chong takes a swing at Ozumab's ribcage but misses.

Chong fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ozumab to the ground. Chong is now in Ozumab's guard.

Chong misses the shot to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Chong has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chong looks to land a right hand but Hernandez moved out of range.
Chong connects with a combination that backs up Hernandez into the cage. Chong lands a flurry of punches that gets past Hernandez's guard. Hernandez is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Chong bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hongy Chong!

MacGuire cracks Chong with an open hand slap.
Chong looks to land a combination but MacGuire avoids it well.
MacGuire throws out a counter right but Chong avoids it with no problem.

Sean MacGuire decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Hongy Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John tries to close the distance and clinch but Chong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Chong throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
