The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sherman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Sherman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Manchester is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sherman is aware though and is defending well. Manchester controls Sherman momentarily but Sherman frees himself. Sherman is looking to work some ground and pound but Manchester has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Sherman drops back looking for a leg! Manchester is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Manchester manages to kick Sherman off! Sherman jumps back into Manchester's guard. Manchester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. #R1# Sherman swats away the attempt to clinch by Rose. Sherman takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sherman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rose thuds his shin into the meat of Sherman's side. Rose throws a nice inside leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Rose.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rose. Sherman shrugs it off though. Sherman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sherman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#KD2# Rose lands a big head kick that sends Sherman tumbling to the mat! Rose takes a step backwards and waves Sherman back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT2#It looks like Xavier Sherman has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sherman throws a leg kick and Rose counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rose tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sherman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position.#T1##BC2# Rose manages to break the clinch.
Rose tries to clinch but Sherman is having none of it. Rose punishes Sherman's body with a nice straight punch. Sherman misses with a takedown attempt and Rose counters with a leg kick. Sherman is breathing heavily. Rose lands a hook that stumbles Sherman back into the cage. Rose follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Sherman to the canvas! Rose pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Sherman has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

#R1# Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Onigawa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sherman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sherman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sherman throws a head kick but Onigawa moves out of range.
Sherman shoots in for a takedown but Onigawa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#TD# Onigawa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sherman sprawls well initially but Onigawa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sherman kicks off Onigawa and gets to his feet. Onigawa blocks a head kick by Sherman.
#TD# Sherman gets caught napping as Onigawa dives in and scores a takedown. Sherman manages to retain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Onigawa wants to pass the guard but Sherman is keeping the position. Onigawa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Onigawa passes Sherman's left leg - he's now in half guard. Onigawa uses his free foot to push down on Sherman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sherman. Onigawa fails to advance to Sherman's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Sherman is trying to escape the mount.

#SUB# Onigawa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sherman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sherman! #SUB# Sherman is posturing up here but Onigawa has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sherman tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sherman has to tap! Slick submission there by Onigawa!
