Pittman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Graves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pittman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pittman throws a hook to the side of Graves's head but Graves sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Graves went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Grover Pittman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pittman misses the body punch and Graves counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT#It looks like Grover Pittman has been cut. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cruz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cruz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. No joy there for Graves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mongoose trying to control from half guard but Graves is working away. Graves is in trouble now - Mongoose has advanced to mount! The Mongoose overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mongoose has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Graves's face.

Mongoose fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The Mongoose dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!#R3# Mongoose wants to clinch up but Graves keeps it at a distance. As Mongoose backs off Graves throws a huge counter combo but Mongoose manages to avoid it all. Mongoose takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Graves throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Graves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Graves. Deon Graves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mongoose misses with a head kick.

The Mongoose is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Graves throws a right hand that Mongoose ducks under and follows up with a left that Mongoose also avoids with ease. Deon Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mongoose. Graves fails to land with a series of punches.

Mongoose has a closed guard, preventing Graves from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T3# Graves postures up in Mongoose's guard and throws a big left but Mongoose blocks it. Mongoose controls Graves momentarily but Graves frees himself. Graves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mongoose swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mongoose is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Graves can do to turn this around?
