Mfer swats away the attempt to clinch by Townsend.
Frank Townsend seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Townsend looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mfer is fending him off so far but Townsend persists. Nope, Mfer circles away and we're back to standing.
Townsend shoots for a takedown but Mfer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
It looked like Mfer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Townsend.
Townsend goes for a double leg but Mfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mfer continues to drive forward.
Mike Mfer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Townsend.
Townsend throws a head kick that misses.
Townsend misses with a wild body shot.
Mfer throws a jab but it's blocked by Townsend.

Mferi scores with a nice right hand.
Townsend doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mferi comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Townsend stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Mferi is on him like rabid pit bull! Townsend slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Townsend drives through and clinches with Some against the cage.

Townsend turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Some wants to get back to his feet but Townsend is dominant here and he's now got Some's back!
Townsend gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Some is trying to stand back up.
Some is trying to break free.

Townsend is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Some has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Townsend has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Some taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Townsend doesn't care though - he's delighted!
