#R1# Takeda connects with a body shot that sends Kubota's belly button to the back. Sloppy strikes from Kubota. Those never looked like landing. Kubota misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takeda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kubota shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takeda as he avoids it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kubota ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kubota swings for the body but Takeda moves out of range.

A big right from Takeda misses. Sloppy strikes from Kubota. Those never looked like landing. #KD# Kubota lands a big head kick that sends Takeda tumbling to the mat! Kubota takes a step backwards and waves Takeda back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT#It looks like Keishin Takeda has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kubota slips under a jab. Kubota throws a solid leg kick but Takeda takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kubota. Kubota throws a head kick but Takeda moves out of range.
Takeda moves into range and connects with a jab. Kubota takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Takeda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kubota manages to avoid it. Takeda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Takeda misses with an uppercut. Takeda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kubota throws out the jab. Kubota throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fighters circle, before Takeda throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kubota's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Takeda lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
