Bernal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ross avoids it really well and circles away.#TD# Ross scores with a takedown into Bernal's guard. Ross looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bernal has a closed guard, preventing Ross from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Ross scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ross pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bernal is keeping the position for now. Ross landing with the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bernal is looking to sweep but instead, Ross has passed into half guard.

He'll look to pass Bernal's guard now, I'm sure. Ross tries to stand but Bernal is controlling from the bottom. Ross controlling from the top position. Ross landing with the ground and pound. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bernal's guard. Ross is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bernal can do to turn this around? Ross is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.#SUB# Ross is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bernal sees it coming and defends easily.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ross is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ross has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bernal tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ross looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bernal trying to get back to full guard but Ross takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Ross punishing his opponent with strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Ross dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!#R3# Bernal misses with a low kick. #CL# Ross rushes Bernal and presses him up against the cage. Bernal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ross prevents it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross pulls Bernal in close to prevent any damage. Ross throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
#T1# Bernal is fighting to break Ross's control of his arms but Ross is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bernal preventing the sweep. Ross is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Ross has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ross wants to take his opponent's back but Bernal doesn't allow it. #T2# Bernal is looking to get to half guard. Bernal is just holding on here. Ross manages to take his back.
Ross has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bernal's body.
#SUB# Ross is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bernal knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bernal for a finish. #SUB# Ross is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bernal is taking damage to the body and head. Ross punches Bernal on the ear. Oooh a big shot gets through from Ross. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Ross is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
