Laddy Sutherland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body kick there by Sutherland. Sutherland scores with a spinning back kick!#TD# Rank fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sutherland sprawls well initially but Rank persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McCurtney throws a sloppy head kick and Sutherland moves out of range easily. McCurtney throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McCurtney works the jab nicely. Sutherland misses with a right hand and McCurtney counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sutherland throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sutherland cracks a nice hook into McCurtney's ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Sutherland. Sutherland fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCurtney. Sutherland lands a two punch combo.

Sutherland will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Guzzler up against the cage. Guzzler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sutherland pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sutherland utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.#TD2# Sutherland has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Guzzler is trying to keep an underhook but Sutherland manages to get the takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jordan is looking to counter the offense by Sutherland and move into the clinch. Sutherland keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jordan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sutherland swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jordan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jordan misses with an attempted mid kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fish. Fish changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sutherland tries to avoid it but Fish manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sutherland to the ground. Sutherland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Fish. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sutherland cracks Fish with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fish fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sutherland feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fishs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Fish with a poor takedown and Sutherland counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC2#Fish is rocked! Fish gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Sutherland gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Fish is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Sutherland regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sutherland wants to sweep but no luck. Romero trying to control but Sutherland is working from the bottom. Romero stopping the sweep attempt from Sutherland. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero wants to control from the top but Sutherland keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sutherland being controlled here, momentarily. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T1# Romero shoots in for a takedown but Sutherland shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
