#R1# Hector tries to clinch up. Hector definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hector scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Paz doesn't seem bothered though. Paz fails with the takedown. A punch combination from Hector misses. Hector moves in looking to clinch but Paz pushes him off. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Hector throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#CL2# and Paz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Paz is trying to pull guard but Hector turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Paz goes for a takedown attempt but Hector pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jack Hector has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joaquim Paz. A left lands for Hector.#CUT#It looks like Joaquim Paz has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hector connects with the punch. Hector swinging wildly here.

#T1# Paz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hector counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Paz off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hector follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Paz was out before he hit the floor.

#R1# Paz with a lazy takedown attempt and Hector counters with a straight right hand.#CUT#It looks like Joaquim Paz has been cut. Paz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#TD2# Paz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hector wants to get back to his feet but Paz is dominant here and he's now got Hector's back! Hector is really stuck here.
#SUB2# Paz working for a choke but Hector is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You can see the frustration on Hector's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
#SUB2# Paz has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hector! Can he survive? No! He's out! Paz gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

He's pushed Paz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Paz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

#R1# Yamazaki dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Yamazaki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Paz's head.#CUT#It looks like Joaquim Paz has been cut. Paz ducks right into an uppercut from Yamazaki. Paz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yamazaki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.#TD2# Paz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yamazaki to the mat! Yamazaki manages to get full guard. Yamazaki keeping moving, preventing Paz from controlling successfully. Yamazaki wants to stand but Paz is controlling the position. Paz is looking to work some ground and pound but Yamazaki has wrist control.#T1# Yamazaki is looking to stand up but Paz isn't so interested in that idea. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Paz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Yamazaki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Yamazaki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#CUT#That has opened up Joaquim Paz's cut even more. Yamazaki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Paz momentarily.

Paz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Yamazaki finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yamazaki sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Paz's defenses. It connects perfectly with Paz's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
