Hector tries to clinch up.
Hector definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hector scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Paz doesn't seem bothered though.
Paz fails with the takedown.
A punch combination from Hector misses.
Hector moves in looking to clinch but Paz pushes him off.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Paz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hector counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Paz off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hector follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Paz was out before he hit the floor.

Paz with a lazy takedown attempt

Paz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hector wants to get back to his feet but Paz is dominant here and he's now got Hector's back!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Hector's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Paz has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hector! Can he survive? No! He's out! Paz gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
