Jan Blachowicz had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 272.3, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Dan McLaughlin was cancelled.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Calhoun has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

And Jon Jon responds with a good body kick, but McLaughlin manages to step out the way in time.
McLaughlin cracks Jon Jon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jon Jon falls backwards against the cage. McLaughlin follows up with more strikes that drop Jon Jon to his knees. McLaughlin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jon Jon! This one is all over!
