Cikaev wants to control but Robit is keeping him busy. #SU# Cikaev decides to take the fight back to the feet. Robit shoots for a takedown but Cikaev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#TD# Cikaev drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Robit controls Cikaev momentarily but Cikaev frees himself. Cikaev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Robit looking to control.
Cikaev looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cikaev tries to free his leg and advance position but Robit is retaining full guard. #T1# Robit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Cikaev trying to control but Robit postures up.
Cikaev holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Cikaev is staying active underneath Robit, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Robit blocks the strikes from Cikaev.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Robit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cikaev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cikaev landing with the ground and pound. Cikaev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Robit's head.#SUB# Cikaev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Robit dives on top into guard.#REVB# Robit is fighting to break Cikaev's control of his arms but Cikaev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cikaev has Robit pulled in close to control his posture. #SUB# Robit avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cikaev doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Acuzumabaev Cikaev will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robit keeping moving, preventing Cikaev from controlling successfully. Robit pulls Cikaev in close to his closed guard and prevents Cikaev from doing any damage or advancing position.#T1# Cikaev stands and throws Robit's legs to the side, diving into side control. Robit is not content to let Cikaev control the position. Robit takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.#SUB# Cikaev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cikaev has let go of the choke. Cikaev trying to control the action but Robit is working from the bottom. #SUB# Cikaev has hold of Robit's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Robit tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cikaev cranks the arm and Robit screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Robit, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
