#R1# Ariundas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bay defends well and Ariundas ends up having to push Bay into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#TD# Ariundas pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bay stopping the sweep attempt from Ariundas. Ariundas has Bay pulled in close to control his posture. Bay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ariundas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Ariundas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ariundas controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ariundas pushes down on Bay's leg and manages to get into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Ariundas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bay doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ariundas. #SUB# Ariundas seems to be working for a kimura but Bay defends the submission attempt.#T1# Bay is trying to stand up here but Ariundas is controlling him well. Ariundas trying to control the pace. Bay is not content to let Ariundas control the position.#ES2# Bay manages to escape and get back to his feet! #TD# Ariundas gets the takedown into side control. #SUB# Ariundas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bay knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ariundas controlling the position. #T2##SUB# Ariundas has hold of Bay's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bay seems comfortable defending it but Ariundas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bay is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bay is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ariundas couldn't care less - he's delighted!
