Hollands stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Nuno wants to take the fight to the mat but Hollands manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tio Nuno. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nuno tries to score a body lock takedown but Hollands shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nuno tries to pull guard but Hollands won't allow it.

#R1##TD2# Hollands gets caught napping as De Vries dives in and scores a takedown. Hollands manages to retain guard. Hollands wants to hit a sweep here but De Vries passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hollands there! Hollands takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. De Vries controlling from mount. De Vries blocks Hollands's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. De Vries controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Vries is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hollands can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Hollands tries to lock up and control but De Vries gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#T1# Hollands working to try and regain half guard.
