Stone sends Roman crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stone is motioning to the referee to let Roman up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#CUT#It looks like Jamarcus Roman has been cut.
Stone feints with a jab and clips Roman right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Roman is sent crashing into the canvas and Stone leaps in for the kill! Roman tries to get to his feet but Stone is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Roman is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Stone!

and Chavan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Roman takes one to the side of the head.

Chavan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roman at a distance.
Roman leaves his chin hanging out and Chavan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Roman crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Still in half guard, Roman seems content to control.
Faita is staying active underneath Roman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Faita can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
