#R1# Cline wants to clinch but Ware slips to the side and Ware counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #TD# Cline dives in and scores a takedown into Ware's guard. Cline is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cline wants to get up but he can't break Ware's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cline not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cline looking to pass the guard. #T1# Cline slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ware lands a slapping body shot.
#CL2# Ware rushes Cline and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ware wants to get back to striking at distance but Cline won't allow it.

Nick Cline dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick Cline's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Ware shoots for a takedown but Cline saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cline tries to clinch but Ware is having none of it. Ware unleashes a big counter combination but Cline bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Ware shoots in looking for a takedown but Cline manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ware's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Ware enables Cline to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ware manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cline is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Further stalling from Cline. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Cline is stinking the place up with his stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ware really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cline. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cline advances to half guard. #T1# It looks like Cline is going to stand back up.

Cline is nestled in close to Ware, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ware is looking for a sweep. Cline is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ware is breathing heavily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Walter misses with a few strikes there.
#CL2# Walter gets a clinch. Walter is looking to take this one to the mat. Cline tries to pull guard but Walter holds him up against the cage and eventually Cline drops back down to his feet.
Walter wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
#TD2# Walter gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Walter looks winded! Cline looking for a sweep. Not yet Cline, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cline holds on and takes a little breather. Cline is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Walter is looking for a sweep. Cline is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#T1# Cline takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Cline wants to pass to mount but Walter is defending the position. Cline slows the pace down in half guard. Cline working Walter over with strikes. Cline tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Cline has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cline slows the pace down in half guard. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Walter wants to get back to full guard but Cline has passed into side control. Cline controlling the position from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cline lands some shots froms side control.#T3##SUB# Cline is working to tighten his grip on Walter's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Walter has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cline is really squeezing tight and eventually Walter passes out! Cline breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# Cline fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#CL2# Cline darts in and clinches Cantu up against the cage. Cline working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Cantu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cline prevents Cantu from breaking the clinch. Cline has Cantu pressed against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Cline feints and as Cantu raises his hands in defense, Cline changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cline won't allow Cantu to sweep him here. #SUB# Cantu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cline gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cantu keeping full guard, as Cline tries to pass. #T1# Cantu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cantu wants to sweep here but Cline controlling him for the moment. Cantu seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Cline wants to pass the guard but Cantu is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cline accidentally thumps the mat. Cantu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cline moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice sprawl there from Cline as Cantu shoots in. Cline stuffs the takedown attempt from Cantu. Cantu gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cantu is defended easily by Cline. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryland Cantu. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T4# Cline lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cline. Cline fails with the takedown. Cline tries to work over Cantu's front leg with a kick but Cantu checks it. Cantu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cline avoids it really well and circles away. Cline throws out a counter right but Cantu avoids it with no problem. Cantu fails with the takedown#TD2# and Cline counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cantu won't be happy with that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cline tries to stand but Cantu is controlling his head. Cantu gets back to half guard. And that is the end of the round. #R1# Cline takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fortier darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cline moves in looking to clinch but Fortier pushes him off.#KD# Fortier drops Cline with a beautiful combination! Cline stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fortier is looking for the KO!#CUT#It looks like Nick Cline has been cut. Cline with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fortier to score with a decent uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Fortier clobbers Cline with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #TD2# Fortier gets caught napping as Cline dives in and scores a takedown. Fortier manages to retain guard. Cline content to stall in guard here. Cline passes into half guard. Cline content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #T1##SU2# Cline decides to return to a standing position. Cline drops his hands momentarily and Fortier takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #TD2# Fortier tries to sprawl but Cline drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fortier scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cline manages to mount him!
Fortier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cline on the ground. Fortier tries to buck Cline off but he can't manage it. Cline controlling from mount. #SUB2# Cline is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fortier is forced to tap! Great finish!
