#R1# Jack moves away from the strike by Strazdins. Strazdins throws out a loose jab but Jack uses good head movement to avoid it. #TD# Jack manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Strazdins on his heels. He'll look to pass Strazdins's guard now, I'm sure. Strazdins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strazdins wants to control but Jack passes easily into half guard.
Jack tries to stand but his arm is trapped. #SUB2# Strazdins looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Strazdins tries to get to full guard but Jack has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jack takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Strazdins is trying to control but can't.
Strazdins wants to improve his position but Jack is controlling well.

We've been hearing good reports from Jack's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Strazdins loads up on a big right hand but Jack slips the punch. Strazdins misses with a wild combination.
Jack tries to counter with a takedown but Strazdins is quick to defend against it. Strazdins lands the left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Strazdins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Sloppy strikes from Jack. Those never looked like landing. Strazdins feints the counter takedown. Jack is breathing heavily. Jack misses with the combination.
Strazdins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jack fires out a quick counter leg kick but Strazdins just manages to avoid it. Strazdins throws a body shot but no joy. Strazdins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jack throws out the jab. Jack has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CL2# Strazdins closes the distance and clinches. Strazdins has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Strazdins wants a takedown.
Reed Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danils Strazdins. Jack tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #BC# Jack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strazdins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Reed Jack will probably get the nod. That's time! Jack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Strazdins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jack sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jack is looking to counter the offense by Strazdins and move into the clinch. Strazdins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jack.

Strazdins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Reed Jack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strazdins.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jack throws a jab but it's blocked by Strazdins. Jack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Strazdins manages to avoid it. Reed Jack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T2# Strazdins passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jack! #SUB2# Strazdins wants to finish this one by submission but Jack is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Strazdins. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strazdins trying to control but Jack is having none of it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jack manages to regain half guard. Good work. #SUB2# Strazdins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jack has managed to free his arm - good work. #T3# Strazdins wants to take a breather but Jack is having none of it. #SUB2# Strazdins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

And we move into the final round!#R3# Strazdins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Strazdins wants it to stay on the feet. Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strazdins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Strazdins keeps the fight on the outside. Strazdins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#CL2# Strazdins rushes Jack and presses him up against the cage. Strazdins is trying to drag Jack to the mat but Jack just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD# Jack turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jack manages to end up in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strazdins tries to bench press Jack off him but Jack keeps the position. Jack wants to control but Strazdins is keeping him busy. Strazdins can't do much from the bottom here. #T1##SU# Jack decides to stand back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Strazdins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jack. Jack throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jab, jab by Strazdins - just one landing. Strazdins misses the jab. Strazdins looks to score with a jab to the body but Jack is just out of range. Strazdins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jack's waist but Jack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strazdins off to one side. Reed Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Strazdins squirms to his side and now Jack has his back! Strazdins prevents Jack from getting a body triangle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strazdins tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! #T3# Strazdins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Strazdins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Jack keeping moving, preventing Strazdins from controlling successfully. Strazdins looking to sit in guard and control but Jack gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Strazdins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jack working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jack is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #SUB2# Strazdins throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Strazdins! Thepsenavong working away. Strazdins is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Thepsenavong trying to control the position but Strazdins is working away. Strazdins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thepsenavong wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action here. Strazdins tries to buck Thepsenavong off but Thepsenavong is having none of it. Strazdins wants to control but Thepsenavong postures up.#SUB2# Thepsenavong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
