Bean doesn't manage to clinch there - Makkonen circles away.
Bean stuffs the takedown attempt from Makkonen. Makkonen gets slowly back to his feet.
Makkonen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Despite the aggression on Bean's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#CL2#
Bean forces Makkonen back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bean's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That was a close round but I would say that Omega Makkonen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Mr Bean's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2#
Bean tries to close the distance and clinch but Makkonen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Makkonen misses its target.

Bean moves in looking to clinch but Makkonen pushes him off.
Makkonen cracks Bean with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bean tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Makkonen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bean is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omega Makkonen!

Franklin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cooley sprawls well initially but Franklin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cooley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Franklin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Franklin is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Cooley with him. Cooley is trying to defend but Franklin has an arm under the chin now! Cooley grimaces and is forced to tap out!
