We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leopold has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD2# Leopold looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Frye manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#TD2# Leopold gets control of Frye's arms and successfully pulls guard. Leopold will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Frye wanted to stand there but Leopold had control of the position. Frye trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.#SU# Frye stands up from guard. Let's bang! #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Tua defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leopold. Tua fires out a quick counter leg kick but Leopold just manages to avoid it. Leopold misses with a takedown and Tua counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CUT#It looks like Aldo Leopold has been cut. Leopold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Beta Tua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldo Leopold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leopold shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tua counters with a big right hand! Oh Leopold is in trouble here! Tua follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kha manages to work his way to half guard, despite Leopold's best efforts. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#T1##SUB# Kha looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leopold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leopold thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. #SUB# Leopold escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar.
