Winters swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Winters tries to break free but Chester pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Chester. Chester keeps control of Winters as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Chester has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Winters is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Winters swings wildly with an uppercut but Chester uses good head movement to avoid it. Chester drops down looking for an ankle pick but Winters pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chester tries to pull guard but Winters won't allow it.
Jordon Winters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Chester. Winters dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Chester stiff and motionless on the mat!

Very smooth. Winters tries to improve position but can't. Griffin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Winters keeps working. Winters is looking for a sweep. Winters manages to get back to half guard. Griffin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Winters wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miettinen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Tank Factory in the buildup to the fight. Miettinen moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Winters tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Winters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Winters on the wrong end of a nice jab. A nice inside leg kick there by Miettinen. That's going to slow Winters down. Winters takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. This has been an exciting period of action! Miettinen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Miettinen throws a head kick that misses.
