#R1# Materla swats away the attempt to clinch by Delgado. Delgado will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Delgado throws a series of punches but Materla avoids them all with ease. Materla tries for a takedown but Delgado sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Delgado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Delgado wants it to stay on the feet.#CL# Materla clinches. #TD2# Delgado lands a takedown into guard.
Materla wants to stand up but Delgado is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delgado is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SUB# Materla had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Delgado defends it easily.#T1# Materla is trying to control the position but Delgado postures up. Delgado is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Materla is trying to control the position but Delgado postures up. #T2# Delgado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Delgado trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Delgado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Materla swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Delgado throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Materla works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Delgado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2##TD2# Delgado scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Delgado working away. Heath Delgado has got the better of the ground game so far. Materla prevents Delgado from moving into mount. Materla seems a little lost for a moment, as Delgado dominates the positioning. Delgado working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Materla's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delgado trying to control the action but Materla is working from the bottom. Materla wants to control but Delgado postures up.#T1# Materla is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The strikes coming from Delgado are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Delgado just content to control the position. Delgado misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Delgado is looking to take a break and control but Materla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Delgado working the ground and pound from side control. Delgado has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Delgado fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Delgado wants to stand but Materla has his arm trapped. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Materla keeps the fight on the outside. Delgado circles away from the clinch attempt.
#CL2# Delgado fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Materla, pushing him back against the cage. Materla really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Delgado takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Materla is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Delgado gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. #BC2# Delgado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Michal Materla is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#TD2# Delgado closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Materla's guard. Delgado looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Materla keeping moving, preventing Delgado from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Heath Delgado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!#R3##CL2# Delgado clinches up with Materla and pushes him back against the cage. Materla avoiding damage as Delgado throws knees to the body.
Materla wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
#BC2# Delgado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Materla shoots in for a takedown but Delgado shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Delgado. No joy for Materla on that attempt. Delgado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Materla.
#CL# Delgado gets tackled into the cage by Materla. Materla maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Materla managing to block the knees to the body from Delgado.

Delgado won't allow Materla to get back to his feet. Materla has a closed guard, preventing Delgado from standing up. Delgado preventing the sweep. Delgado stays in close to Materla's body and controls the position. #T2# Delgado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Materla is keeping the position for now. Materla will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Materla not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Materla is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#BC2# Delgado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #T4# Materla looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.#CL2# Delgado drives through and clinches with Materla against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Heath Delgado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Delgado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Van Gogh tries to clinch but Delgado moves out of range. #CL2# Van Gogh fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Delgado, pushing him back against the cage.#TD# Delgado ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Delgado no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Van Gogh wants to control from the top but Delgado keeps moving. #SUB# Delgado has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Van Gogh should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Delgado has tightened it up now! Van Gogh should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
