Woods is trying to pull guard but Islay has him pressed against the cage. Woods wants to take the fight to the mat but Islay manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brodie Woods. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Islay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Islay manages to end up in side control. Woods tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Islay stands up over Erceg, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Islay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Erceg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Islay is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Grape with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Grape dives in and grabs Islay's left leg, looking for a takedown. Islay pushes down on Grape's head and hops out.
