Horrible takedown attempt by Bond or perhaps it was just good defense by Scott, which made it look bad. #TD2#
Bond gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Scott to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Scott wants to stand but Bond has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Scott sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Scott keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bond's head.
Scott sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bond's guard.
Bond taking some punishment here, with Scott in his half guard.
Bond trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Scott manages to pass to mount!
Scott lands a big elbow.
Scott lands a couple of good shots and Bond has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Bond is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
It looks like Scott might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T2##SUB2#
Bond has hold of Scott's leg, trying to break free but it's let Scott lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Bond is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Scott throws him to one side and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with his fans.

Bond fails with the takedown
and Meyers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Meyers scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bond fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bond gets tackled into the cage by Meyers. Meyers maintains the clinch.
Bond tries to score a body lock takedown but Meyers shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bond tries to pull guard but Meyers won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC#
Bond breaks from the clinch.
That kick from Bond tenderised Meyers's leg. Meyers is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bond shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meyers but Meyers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Meyers wants to counter the offense by Bond and move into the clinch position.

Bond feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#T1#

Let's hope that Meyers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bond working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
