#R1# Weeks misses with a body kick. #CL2# Weeks moves into the clinch. Harper has Weeks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Weeks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Harper is looking to take this one to the mat. Harper is breathing heavily. Harper missing with knees to the body.
I was talking to Harper's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Harper is trying to drag Weeks to the mat but Weeks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryce Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC2# Weeks manages to break the clinch.
#CL2# Weeks moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weeks scores with a hook to the body. Weeks tries for a takedown but Harper manages to get underhooks.
Harper is trying to break free.#TD2# Weeks ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Weeks no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Weeks controlling the position.#T1# Weeks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harper manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Weeks content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Harper being controlled here, momentarily. Let's hope that Weeks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Weeks might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#SUB2# Weeks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB# Harper working for submissions but it's allowed Weeks to get to half guard.
#T2# Weeks controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Weeks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harper defends it well. Weeks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. #T3# Weeks works his way into full mount! Weeks looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
#CUT2#It looks like Bryce Harper has been cut. Weeks controlling his opponent. Harper is bucking up trying to escape but Weeks cracks him with another couple of good strikes.#T4# Weeks dominating with strikes here.#SUB2# Weeks is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Harper can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Weeks punishing his opponent with strikes. #ROC2#Harper is rocked! Weeks lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Harper! Weeks sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Harper and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

#R1# A jab from Stone finds it's way through Harper's defenses. Harper takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#CUT#It looks like Bryce Harper has been cut. Stone fakes the body blow, causing Harper to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Harper goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Stone! A relieved looking Brian Stone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# Castro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Castro on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Castro lands a jab to the nose.#CUT#It looks like Bryce Harper has been cut. Harper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Castro. Harper is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Harper uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Castro. Harper is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Harper doesn't manage to clinch there - Castro circles away.
Harper tries to clinch #KD# and Castro counters with a crisp right hand that drops Harper! Castro lets Harper back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC#Harper is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Castro misses with a hook. Harper ducked under it nicely. Harper is still on wobbly legs! Can Castro finish him? Castro closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Harper out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
