Materla just stands there and leans against the cage. Perez is breathing heavily. Materla tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Perez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD2# Materla successfully pulls guard.

Materla pulls Perez in close to his closed guard and prevents Perez from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Materla working for a triangle but Perez defends it easily.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.#ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Materla manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Materla stalling the fight.

Alex Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Materla. Perez is looking for a takedown. Materla prevents a takedown attempt there.

And that's the end of the fight! Michal Materla comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Materla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. #R1# Diaoune circles away from the clinch attempt and Diaoune counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CUT2#It looks like Alex Perez has been cut. Perez is breathing heavily. Diaoune jabs at Perez's body. Perez drops his hands momentarily. Diaoune doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Perez staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Perez doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Gigachod is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gigachod controlling from the full mount. Gigachod working the ground and pound effectively.

#R1# A good leg kick by Diamond. A punch lands to the side of Perez 's head but he takes it in his stride. Diamond throws a nice inside leg kick. Diamond doesn't manage to clinch there - Perez circles away.
Jab, jab by Diamond - just one landing. A jab from Diamond does it's job there. A left lands for Diamond. Perez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Diamond lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Diamond works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diamond tries to clinch but Perez is having none of it. Perez feinted with a counter takedown. Jab from Diamond. Perez walks into a stiff left hand from Diamond. Diamond with a body punch. A glancing blow. Diamond scores with a jab to the head.

Perez had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Perez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Perez shoots in but Diamond avoids the takedown attempt easily. Perez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#T1# Diamond connects with a good right hand that stumbles Perez. Perez circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Perez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diamond connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Perez scrambles back to his feet. Ace Diamond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, jab by Diamond - just one landing. Perez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diamond connects with a single shot there. Diamond uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Perez has time to react. Diamond keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

#KD2# Diamond feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Perez sprawling to the canvas! Perez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Diamond finish him?!
