Nadir looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
LS tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nadir fails with a takedown attempt.
Manzoor Nadir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from LS as Nadir shoots in.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manzoor Nadir. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nadir changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. LS tries to avoid it but Nadir manages to keep hold of a leg and drag LS to the ground. LS escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mukendi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mukendi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nadir tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mukendi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nadir looks to move to half guard but instead Mukendi has passed into mount! Damn!
Nadir wants to control but Mukendi is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
