#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Hamalainen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mountainjoki connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hamalainen's hands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mountainjoki throws out a loose jab but Hamalainen uses good head movement to avoid it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mountainjoki connects with a single shot there.#T1# Hamalainen lands a jab to the nose. Hamalainen lands a nice looking body shot.
Hamalainen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Mountainjoki scores with a nice right hand.

Hamalainen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mountainjoki darts in and out, connecting with a jab. No joy there for Hamalainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looked like Hamalainen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mountainjoki. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mountainjoki blocks a jab. Mountainjoki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rubert Hamalainen will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2# Hamalainen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Mountainjoki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hamalainen. Mountainjoki swings widly with a right hand

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mountainjoki! But no joy. Mountainjoki ducks under a wild hook from Hamalainen. Mountainjoki throws out a counter right but Hamalainen avoids it with no problem. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Mountainjoki might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hamalainen has got the better of the exchanges.#T1# Mountainjoki connects with a crisp jab. Rubert Hamalainen is winning the standup battle so far. Mountainjoki misses the shot to the body. Mountainjoki loads up on a big right hand but Hamalainen slips the punch. Hamalainen misses with a wild body shot. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mountainjoki! But no joy.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mountainjoki lands a body shot.

Hamalainen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. No joy there for Hamalainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mountainjoki throws out a counter right but Hamalainen avoids it with no problem.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nice shot lands for Hamalainen. Mountainjoki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rubert Hamalainen. I think Hamalainen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
