#R1##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Kaveri enables Diamond to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kaveri manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB2# Diamond avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#SUB2# Kaveri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diamond gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB2# Kaveri looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diamond looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SUB2# Kaveri is looking for a triangle but Diamond pushes his legs off easily.
Diamond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Kaveri working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diamond doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diamond manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #R1# Korsgaard misses with a low kick. Ejnar Korsgaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korsgaard slips a jab and a cross from Diamond.
A low kick from Korsgaard misses and Diamond counters with a nice body shot. Korsgaard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Korsgaard fails in his attempt to clinch. Korsgaard wants to clinch up but Diamond keeps it at a distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diamond. Diamond turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Korsgaard throws a low kick but Diamond moves out of range easily. Diamond uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Korsgaard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korsgaard misses with a low kick. Korsgaard lands an overhand right.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Korsgaard misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Moody tries to break the clinch but Diamond is controlling the position. Moody is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Diamond to keep the fight standing.#BC2# Diamond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Diamond shoots in looking for a takedown but Moody manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diamond's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Moody tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diamond was well out of range. Poor timing from Moody. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moody shoots in and drives through. Diamond sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lamar Moody. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moody misses with a leg kick #KD2# and Diamond counters with a crisp one two that drops Moody! Diamond thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moody to his feet! Moody is in big trouble!#ROC2#Moody is rocked! Moody shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diamond as he jumps to the side. Oh Moody is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Moody throws a leg kick but Diamond sees it coming and checks it nicely. Moody seems to have got his legs back now.#T1# Diamond tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moody defends well and Diamond ends up having to push Moody into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Moody keeps the fight on the outside. Moody shoots in looking for a takedown but Diamond manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moody's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#CL2# Diamond has closed the distance and engaged Moody in a clinch.

#TD2# Diamond decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diamond wants to sweep here but Moody controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diamond manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moody manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diamond accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Diamond controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #SU2# Diamond decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moody, up you get! #T3# A good leg kick by Diamond. Diamond shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moody as he avoids it easily. Moody slips a jab and a cross from Diamond.
Diamond connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. #CL# Diamond gets tackled into the cage by Moody. Moody maintains the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Moody lands a knee to the head.
Diamond wants to take the fight to the mat but Moody manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Diamond tries to pull guard but Moody holds him up against the cage and eventually Diamond drops back down to his feet.

Moody pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Diamond tumbling to the mat - Moody dives into Diamond's guard. Diamond is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #T4# This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Diamond manages to pull guard.
Diamond throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Moody stopping the sweep attempt from Diamond. Horrible takedown attempt by Moody or perhaps it was just good defense by Diamond, which made it look bad. Diamond has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Moody wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Diamond has him pressed against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moody is trying to break the clinch but Diamond has him pressed against the cage. Diamond holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Nick Diamond showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Moody tries to avoid it but Diamond manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moody to the ground. Moody escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Diamond shoots in but no luck this time. Diamond goes for a double leg but Moody avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moody continues to drive forward. Lamar Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Diamond. Moody looks for a takedown but Diamond sprawls well. Diamond stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Diamond wants it to stay on the feet. Diamond keeps the fight on the outside. And that's the end of the fight! Nick Diamond comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Diamond has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
