Odom Hunt throws a hook but Pitt avoids it easily. Good exchange - Pitt coming out on top. Pitt throws a hook to the side of Odom Hunt's head but Odom Hunt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Odom Hunt stuns Pitt with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Pitt misses with a left hand and Odom Hunt counters with a straight right hand.#CUT2#It looks like Cesar Pitt has been cut. Odom Hunt tests Pitt's chin there with a solid looking shot. Odom Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.

and Rocha counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pitt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pitt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pitt connects with a right hand. Rocha shakes it off. Pitt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been informed that Pitt has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Pitt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pitt on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rocha. Rocha obviously looking to wear him down.

Pitt lands an overhand right. Pitt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Pitt lands a jab to the head.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Fábio Araújo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL2# Araújo instigates a clinch. #TD2# Araújo drags the fight down to the ground.
Pitt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Araújo seems keen to control Pitt's posture. Pitt wants to control from the top but Araújo keeps moving. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A combination from Pitt does no damage. Pitt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Costa misses the jab. Costa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pitt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pitt swinging wildly here.

I was talking to Pitt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A jab from Pitt does it's job there. A big right from Pitt misses. Cesar Pitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dathren moves away. Nice defenses there by Dathren. Dathren throws a leg kick but Pitt moved away. Pitt misses with a hook
and Dathren cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dathren lands with a cross. Pitt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Pitt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. #R1# Free lands a leg kick that knocks Pitt off balance momentarily. Free looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pitt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Free. Pitt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pitt misses the jab. Pitt misses with a hook. Free ducked under it nicely. Pitt throws out a loose jab but Free uses good head movement to avoid it. A punch lands to the side of Pitt 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pitt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pitt missing with a left hand there. Free was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A jab from Pitt finds it's way through Free's defenses. Free scores with a jab.
