Da Costa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC# Khasawneh breaks the clinch.
Khasawneh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Da Costa connects with an inside leg kick. Khasawneh throws a leg kick but Da Costa checks it. Khasawneh goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Da Costa shoots in for a takedown but Khasawneh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Khasawneh on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Khasawneh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khasawneh showed some decent athleticism there. Khasawneh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Costa on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Da Costa tries to roll over but Khasawneh keeps him under control.#T1# Khasawneh is stalling here. Da Costa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Khasawneh seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Da Costa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Khasawneh is looking to get back to his feet here but Da Costa is keeping cool and he's managed to take Khasawneh's back. Khasawneh can't escape the position.
