Ali was covering up waiting for the punch and Ribeiro finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ali keeping moving, preventing Ribeiro from controlling successfully. Ali wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ali holds on and takes a little breather. Ali's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Ribeiro dives in for a single leg takedown but Ali sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ribeiro shoots and misses and Ali counters with a left to the body. Ribeiro is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Pasti has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Pasti stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Pasti misses with a two punch combination.
Ribeiro walks into a left hand. Ribeiro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pasti. Pasti lands a nice shot to the body.

Ribeiro swings and misses with a shot to the body and Zimmerman counters with a big head kick but Ribeiro shrugs it off. #KD# Oooooh!!! Zimmerman has knocked Ribeiro down with a huge combo! Zimmerman steps away and waves a wobbly Ribeiro back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC#Ribeiro is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Ashton Ribeiro has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ribeiro walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Zimmerman! #R1##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Bryant enables Ribeiro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bryant manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ribeiro scoring with some ground and pound. Ribeiro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ribeiro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bryant struggling a bit here. Ribeiro working the head with strikes. Ribeiro lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. #SUB# Ribeiro is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bryant looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ribeiro gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bryant is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ribeiro lets go of the hold and Bryant can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Travis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ribeiro is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Travis wanted to stand there but Ribeiro had control of the position. #R1##TD# Boesku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ribeiro was covering up waiting for the punch and Boesku finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ribeiro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boesku tries to free his leg and advance position but Ribeiro is retaining full guard. Boesku wanted to stand there but Ribeiro had control of the position. Ribeiro wants to hit a sweep here but Boesku passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ribeiro there! Ribeiro tries to lock up and control but Boesku gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boesku lands a big elbow. Boesku scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ribeiro?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Boesku trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. The fight stays on the outside here - Ribeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ribeiro throws a nice outside leg kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Boesku or perhaps it was just good defense by Ribeiro, which made it look bad. Donk. Ribeiro catches Boesku right on the button with a cross. Ashton Ribeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ribeiro tries to clinch #TD# and Boesku counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ribeiro! Ribeiro is trying to get back to half guard. Boesku advances nicely into full mount. #T4# Boesku scoring with strikes but Ribeiro is staying in there. Boesku tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB# Boesku wants to finish this one by submission but Ribeiro is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Boesku. Ribeiro is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boesku takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Here we go, back to the action!#R2# Boesku ducks right into an uppercut from Ribeiro. Boesku tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ribeiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boesku somewhat. A head kick misses from Ribeiro. A left lands for Ribeiro. Boesku rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ribeiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ribeiro misses with a head kick.

He tries to recover but Ribeiro pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Boesku is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
