Hwan misses with a hook. Nunes ducked under it nicely.
Hwan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nunes.
Nunes throws the left hand but Hwan avoids the punch easily.
Nunes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nunes slips a jab from Hwan.
Nunes changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nunes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Nunes walks straight into a right hand from Hwan - that's dropped him! Hwan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nunes from any more punishment! Nunes complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

As Nunes looks to move away, Jiro throws a big counter combo but Nunes just gets out of the way.
Jiro shoots in for a takedown but Nunes shows good takedown defense.
Nunes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nunes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Nunes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nunes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A lazy left from Nunes finds it's target.

Nunes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jiro's hands.
Nunes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nunes is pawing at Jiro, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Jiro's nose. Jiro is badly hurt! Nunes pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Jiro tries desperately to hold on but Nunes is relentless in his assault! As Jiro receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Nunes away and this one is in the books!
