#R1# Dover fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Almeida has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Almeida just misses with a punch to the body.
Dover lands with a good body shot. Dover lands with a right hand. Almeida misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
#TD# Almeida scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dover is trying to control but Almeida manages to pass to mount!
Almeida scoring with strikes but Dover is staying in there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dover wants to control but Almeida is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dover is working to get back to half guard.

Almeida lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Dover! Almeida sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Dover and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

#R1# Brewer takes a swing at Dover's ribcage but misses. Dover fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#CUT#It looks like Kingston Brewer has been cut. Brewer lunges at Dover with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dover's hand. Brewer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dover. Brewer misses with an uppercut. Dover saw that one coming. Brewer throws out a powerful jab. Dover uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Brewer throws a lazy right hand but Dover sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brewer on the wrong end of a nice hook. Dover connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dover doesn't succeed with the takedown#CL2# and Brewer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brewer. This has been an exciting period of action! Brewer misses with the head strike.
Dover is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Brewer is defending well. Brewer lands a body shot in the clinch.
Dover is breathing heavily. Dover changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brewer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ran Dover. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dover goes for a double leg but Brewer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brewer continues to drive forward. Brewer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dover backwards. Brewer working some nice short punches in the clinch.#T1# Brewer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brewer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Dover's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Dover drops to his knees and Brewer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
