#TD2# and Blanchard counters with a takedown into side control. Blanchard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Laks wants to control but Blanchard postures up. Laks manages to get back to half guard. Blanchard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Laks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Laks. Laks managing to control the position. Blanchard connects with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blanchard working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Blanchard lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#T1# Blanchard content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Laks is adopting a defensive guard. Laks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blanchard is one step ahead there. Blanchard working some strikes from top position.#SUB# Blanchard stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Laks has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Blanchard manages to get his head free but now Laks has transitioned to an armbar! Blanchard grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Laks! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
