Claude dives in and grabs Yanchev's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yanchev pushes down on Claude's head and hops out.
Claude shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yanchev counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Claude fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yanchev avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Claude. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD#
Claude closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yanchev did well to prevent Claude getting side control.

Claude has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Claude! Yanchev is hurt baaadly! Claude is firing away with more strikes - Yanchev is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
