#R1# Way tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lebreton stuffs the takedown attempt from Way. Way gets slowly back to his feet. Lebreton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. No joy there for Lebreton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Way bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Way uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lebreton. A big right from Lebreton misses. Lebreton throws a lazy right hand but Way sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Way throws a jab when Lebreton was well out of range.#TD2# Way throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lebreton was covering up waiting for the punch and Way finishes the takedown easily into guard. Way works a leg free and moves into half guard. Grappler is fighting it off but Way persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Grappler's guard against the cage. Grappler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Way controls the pace. Grappler trying to keep a closed guard but Way is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Way trying to stand up but can't free himself from Grappler's guard. Way not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Grappler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Way wants to control from the top but Grappler keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Way with a flurry of punches that miss.
