#R1# Kaataja lands a really nice looking cross but Tomouchi seems unphased.
Tomouchi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mighty MMA in the buildup to the fight. Tomouchi misses the shot to the body. Kaataja blocks a low kick nicely. Kaataja checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kaataja ducks under a wild hook from Tomouchi. Kaataja has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kaataja moves in looking to clinch but Tomouchi pushes him off. A jab from Kaataja misses. Kaataja lands a nice shot that snaps Tomouchi's head back.

Oh Tomouchi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tomouchi throws out a leg kick but Kaataja moves out of range and Tomouchi only half commits. Tomouchi seems to have got his legs back now. Kaataja throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kaataja throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kaataja misses with an uppercut. Tomouchi saw that one coming. A jab from Kaataja misses. Kaataja throws out a loose jab but Tomouchi uses good head movement to avoid it. Tomouchi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kalle Kaataja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaataja blocks a low kick nicely. Kaataja looks like he wants to counter punch here. A big left from Kaataja misses. Tomouchi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kaataja. Tomouchi misses the shot to the body. Tomouchi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaataja misses with a straight right. #T1##KD2# Kaataja cracks Tomouchi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kaataja has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tomouchi to stand back up! Kaataja slips a straight right by Tomouchi. Tomouchi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kaataja displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tomouchi throws out the jab. Kaataja throws a series of punches but Tomouchi avoids them all with ease. It looked like Tomouchi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kaataja connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Tomouchi covering up! Kaataja comes in with a big uppercut and Tomouchi goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

#R1# Tomouchi scores with a jab. Tomouchi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Barlow is able to avoid easily. Tomouchi tries to score with a low kick but Barlow moves his leg out of the way. Barlow went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Jab, jab by Tomouchi - just one landing. #CUT2#It looks like Barry Barlow has been cut. Tomouchi throws a leg kick that is checked and Barlow counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ochi Tomouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Decent striking displayed by Barlow there. Barlow misses with a head kick.
