#R1# Rothstein takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. #CUT2#It looks like Sam Rothstein has been cut. Rothstein shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Popper sprawls well. Popper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rothstein gets slowly back to his feet. Popper throws an overhand right that lands on Rothstein's shoulder, as Rothstein tries to avoid the shot. Sam Rothstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rothstein tries to grapple but his opponent circles #KD2# and Popper counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rothstein! Popper lets Rothstein back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#Rothstein is rocked! Rothstein switches off momentarily and Popper cracks him with a monster right hand! Rothstein topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Popper dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Popper!

#R1##TD2# Rothstein manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Limo on his heels. He'll look to pass Limo's guard now, I'm sure. Limo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rothstein is one step ahead there. Rothstein wants to pass the guard but Limo is keeping the position.#SUB# Rothstein avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#SUB# Limo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rothstein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rothstein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Limo swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1##SUB# Limo has his foot on Rothstein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rothstein works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB# Limo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rothstein defends it easily. Rothstein must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. #R1# Rothstein shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chvarak counters with a nice uppercut. Rothstein tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chvarak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Rothstein instigates a clinch. Rothstein tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rothstein has Chvarak pressed against the cage, preventing Chvarak from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rothstein tries to pull guard but Chvarak holds him up against the cage and eventually Rothstein drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Rothstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rothstein jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chvarak walks away with a smile on his face. Rothstein gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chvarak stuffs the takedown attempt from Rothstein. Rothstein gets slowly back to his feet. Rothstein fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rothstein not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Rothstein lands with a punch from half guard. Johnson is staying active underneath Rothstein, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rothstein missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rothstein winds up and cracks Johnson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Johnson wants to get back to his feet. Rothstein throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rothstein trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away. Johnson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rothstein.
