The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL2# Slug drives through and clinches with Kupon against the cage.
Kupon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slug smiles and moves away.

Slug no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Slug keeping moving, preventing Kupon from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slug looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kupon is one step ahead there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Slug holds on and takes a little breather. Kupon trying to control but Slug is working from the bottom. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Filip Kupon! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Rhett Kline! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.#CL# Kupon has managed to clinch.
Kline jumps guard but Kupon turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. #TD# Kupon manages to pull guard.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kline doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kupon is tightening it up a little... Kline has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kline reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kline taps out!
