Noda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. An attempted straight right counter from Pogie misses the target. Noda leaves Pogie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Noda. George Pogie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshiaki Noda. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big right from Noda misses. Noda is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.#CL2# Noda rushes Pogie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Noda lands a left hand.

Virtanen throws out a powerful jab.#KD2# Virtanen sends Pogie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Virtanen is motioning to the referee to let Pogie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2#Pogie is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like George Pogie has been cut. Virtanen misses with a looping right. Pogie half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Pogie fails with a takedown attempt. Virtanen misses with a straight left. Pogie staying out of range there. Virtanen thows a left - swing and a miss! #T1##TD# Pogie dives in and scores a takedown into Virtanen's guard. Virtanen has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Pogie has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Pogie trying to control but Kidd is working from the bottom. #SUB# Kidd throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pogie escapes and throws Kidd's legs to the side, diving into side control! #SUB2# Pogie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pogie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Pogie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kidd keeps working. Kidd is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #T1# Kidd taking a bit of punishment here - Pogie scoring with strikes. Slice cracks Pogie with a nice body shot. Pogie is working for takedown but Slice is calmly controlling the position for now. Slice pushes Pogie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Slice avoiding damage as Pogie throws knees to the body.
Slice lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Slice lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Slice holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Harrison swings widly with a right hand
and Pogie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pogie shoots in for a double leg but Harrison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harrison scores with a jab. Pogie acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Harrison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pogie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet. Michael Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Pogie. Pogie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Pogie tries to counter it with a takedown but Harrison pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pogie shoots in for a takedown but Harrison shows good takedown defense. Harrison throws a lazy right hand but Pogie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pogie shoots in and drives through. Harrison sprawls well. Harrison throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #T1# Pogie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harrison.

Harrison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pogie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pogie is still on wobbly legs! Can Harrison finish him? Pogie looks winded! Pogie ducks under a wild hook from Harrison. Pogie seems to have recovered his senses. Pogie looks up at the clock. Bad move! Harrison lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pogie. Harrison pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Pogie shoots for a double leg takedown but Vanderen sprawls well. He's pushed Pogie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vanderen lands with a nice body kick. Nice takedown defense from Vanderen. No joy for Pogie on that attempt. Pogie shoots in but Vanderen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pogie drops his hands momentarily and Steel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Steel tries to land a body kick#TD2# and Pogie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Steel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR##SUB# Steel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pogie defends it well. Pogie tries to get to full guard but Steel has control of the leg. Steel trying to mount his opponent but Pogie defends it. Steel sitting and controlling from the half guard. Steel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T1# Pogie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Steel is working away from the top position though. Steel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SU# Steel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Steel. Pogie raining down hammerfists from mount. Pogie wants to control the pace but Zavala is squirming around nicely. Zavala is trying desperately to improve position. Fisherman was covering up waiting for the punch and Pogie finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pogie wants to pass the guard but Fisherman is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pogie advances position into side control! Pogie cracks Fisherman with a big right hand but Fisherman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Pogie's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pogie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#TD2# Pogie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brogan is trying to control Pogie's posture but Pogie avoids it. Pogie trying to control the position but Brogan is working away. Pogie looks up at the clock and then as Brogan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pogie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

#KD2# Mills lands a big right hand that sends Pogie crashing to the mat! Mills stays standing though and waves Pogie back to his feet! Oh Pogie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mills Throws a clean left jab. Mills Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Pogie's chin! Pogie crumbles to the ground and Mills follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mills!
