Picadura prevents a body shot from Emar. #TD# Emar tightens his grip and picks Picadura up, before dumping him to the ground. Picadura manages to land in guard. #SUB2# Picadura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Emar defends well.#SUB2# Picadura is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Emar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Picadura throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Emar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Emar passes into half guard. #T1# The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Emar lands a nice short elbow. Picadura trying to control here.
Emar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Picadura on the ground. Emar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Picadura wants to improve his position but Emar is controlling well.

Emar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Picadura to see if he's OK. Najah Emar dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!#R2##TD# Emar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Emar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Picadura can't do much from the bottom here. Emar wants to take a breather but Picadura manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Emar. Emar wants to control from the top but Picadura keeps moving. Najah Emar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Picadura had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Emar defends it easily. Emar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Emar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Picadura is breathing heavily.#T4##SUB2# Picadura is looking to cinch up a triangle. Emar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Picadura's body to avoid the submission. Picadura has instead reached around Emar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Picadura arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
