Garrick looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Byrum!
Garrick lands a few punches from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Byrum tries to improve position but can't.
Garrick sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Byrum is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Byrum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garrick wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Way is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Garrick with him. Garrick is trying to defend but Way has an arm under the chin now! Garrick grimaces and is forced to tap out!
