A countering left hand to the body from Liang misses. Waters tries to grapple but his opponent circles #KD2# and Liang counters with a crisp right hand that drops Waters! Liang lets Waters back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT2#It looks like Mario Waters has been cut. Waters fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Liang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Waters shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Liang scores with a counter punch that sends Waters to the canvas! Liang smells blood - he's punishing Waters with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Waters has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Waters misses with a takedown attempt - Andolini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Andolini bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#TD# Waters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Waters controlling from the top position. Waters stopping the sweep attempt from Andolini.#T1# Waters wants to control from the top but Andolini keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Waters not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Waters fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Waters. That's going to take a lot out of him. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Valentino Andolini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Waters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Waters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Waters gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Andolini gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Waters is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

#R1# Kidd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Waters looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Waters shoots and misses and Kidd makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#TD# Kidd gets caught flat footed, as Waters shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Waters prevents Kidd from getting back to his feet. Waters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kidd wants to get back to his feet but Waters is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kidd is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Waters dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd pushes Waters away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Waters gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Waters remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T1# Kidd is looking to get back to his feet here but Waters is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kidd's back. Kidd wants to get back to his feet. Kidd told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.#SUB# Kidd tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Waters sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Kidd to tap. Impressive finish!

Horrible takedown attempt by Waters or perhaps it was just good defense by Gers, which made it look bad. Waters checks a leg kick. Waters throws out a counter right but Gers avoids it with no problem. Gers throws a leg kick but Waters moved away.#TD# Gers drives through with a takedown into guard. Gers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Waters working a defensive guard here.
Gers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Gers drops back, looking for a kneebar! Waters looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Waters looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Borkowski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Waters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Borkowski dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Waters stiff and motionless on the mat!
