#R1# No luck for Eriksson with that takedown attempt. Eriksson avoids the body shot from Koski.
#TD2# Koski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Koski is keen to just control but Eriksson is a slippery customer. Koski wants to stand up but Eriksson has a hold of him and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eriksson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #T1# Eriksson is holding on to half guard well.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Eriksson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Eriksson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koski but Koski pushes him off and we're back to square one. Koski is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Eriksson tries to clinch up but Koski circles away and keeps his distance. Eriksson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koski sprawls well. Koski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eriksson gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olavi Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.#TD2# Koski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Eriksson did well to prevent Koski getting side control. Koski thows a huge punch but Eriksson dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koski uses his free foot to push down on Eriksson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eriksson. Eriksson wants to control but Koski is having none of it.#SUB2# Koski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Eriksson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Eriksson shrugs it off. Eriksson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.#T4# Koski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Eriksson holds of for dear life. #TD2# Koski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Eriksson's guard.#T2# Koski trying to control but Eriksson is working from the bottom. Eriksson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eriksson tries to get out of the position. Koski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eriksson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Eriksson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Koski trying to control but Eriksson is working from the bottom. #T3# Eriksson trying to control the position here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Eriksson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koski's waist but Koski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eriksson off to one side. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. #TD2# Koski successfully pulls guard.
#T4# Koski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Eriksson manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB##SUB# Eriksson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Koski defends it easily. Eriksson keeping moving, preventing Koski from controlling successfully. Koski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Koski is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Eriksson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Koski sprawls and moves away. Olavi Eriksson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eriksson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Koski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Koski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Koski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Eriksson counters with a three punch combo that has Koski backing up. Koski nods at Eriksson to acknowledge the strikes. Eriksson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#T1# Eriksson goes for a double leg but Koski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koski continues to drive forward. Koski is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Koski.#BC# Eriksson breaks from the clinch.

Eriksson is not content to let Koski control the position. Eriksson tries to get to full guard but Koski has control of the leg. Eriksson keeping hold of Koski's head, controlling as best he can. #SUB2# Eriksson is trying to control Koski's posture. Koski takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Eriksson! Koski is rotating here... this could be the end... Eriksson is out! Koski has ended this one emphatically!
