Ewing replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mcknight blocks it well.
Mcknight moves out of range of the strikes.
Mcknight throws a leg kick but Ewing sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Ewing lands with an uppercut that bounces Mcknight off the cage and back into range.

Mcknight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ewing with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mcknight perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mcknight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It seemed like Ford was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
