A shot to the body from Gilmore misses
and Verse counters with a three punch combo that has Gilmore backing up. Gilmore nods at Verse to acknowledge the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gilmore has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Verse throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gilmore misses with a looping right.
Verse was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Michaud throws the kick towards the body but Gilmore avoids it.
