#R1##TD# Wallace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wallace lands in his opponent's guard. Oliveiria keeping full guard, as Wallace tries to pass. #SUB2# Oliveiria throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wallace wants to pass the guard but Oliveiria is keeping the position. Wallace throwing strikes from guard but Oliveiria blocks nicely. Wallace tries to free his leg and advance position but Oliveiria is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oliveiria swivels though and keeps the full guard. Oliveiria is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Wallace wants to get back to full guard.#T1# Wallace missing with punches from the bottom.
Oliveiria seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wallace is looking to improve his position.
Oliveiria thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wallace's head. Wallace is trying to get back to full guard. Oliveiria tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are battling for position here. Wallace manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oliveiria missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #SUB# Wallace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Oliveiria defends it easily. Wallace looking for a sweep. Not yet Wallace, not yet. Wallace is working hard here to advance position. Wallace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wallace really is a fat lump. Wallace wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB# Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oliveiria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wallace is trying to keep Oliveiria in close.

#T3# Wallace tries to buck Oliveiria off but Oliveiria is having none of it. Wallace manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Wallace manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Oliveiria looks winded! Oliveiria stopping the sweep attempt from Wallace. Oliveiria throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wallace works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Oliveiria distracts Wallace with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#SUB# Wallace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oliveiria doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oliveiria manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wallace wants to sweep here but Oliveiria controlling him for the moment. #T4##SUB# Wallace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Oliveiria defends it easily. Oliveiria preventing the sweep. Wallace looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Oliveiria puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Wallace is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wallace manages to get to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Raiden Wallace will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2##TD# Wallace bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wallace has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Oliveiria! Wallace cracks Oliveiria with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#CUT#It looks like Sean Oliveiria has been cut. Raiden Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wallace trying to control but Oliveiria is having none of it. Wallace lands a big elbow. #ROC#Oliveiria is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sean Oliveiria's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
