Outin wants to pass the guard but Hooper is defending well. #SUB# Hooper looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.#SUB# Hooper looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB# Hooper looking for submissions off his back. Hooper is breathing heavily. Outin sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Outin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hooper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Outin content to control rather than advance. #T1##SU2# Outin stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hooper to get to his feet. Hooper tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.#CL2# Outin clinches with his opponent.

#TD2# Outin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hooper on his heels. He'll look to pass Hooper's guard now, I'm sure.#SUB# Hooper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Outin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #T2# Hooper keeping moving, preventing Outin from controlling successfully. Outin looking to pass the guard. Outin stays in close to Hooper's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Outin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Outin looking to pass the guard. #SU2# Outin stands up and waves to Hooper to follow him. Vladimir Outin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Outin has taken the fight to the clinch.
#T3##BC2# Outin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hooper with a lazy takedown attempt #CL2# and Outin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Outin lands an elbow that stopped Hooper in his tracks for a moment. #TD2# Hooper is fighting off a takedown attempt but Outin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hooper to the mat. Hooper regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB# Hooper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Outin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SU2# Outin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #T4# Hooper misses with a takedown attempt - Outin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaiden Hooper. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Outin has Hooper up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hooper looking to pass the guard. #SUB# Hooper thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Outin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.#R2# Outin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
#CL2# Outin closes the distance and clinches. Hooper looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Outin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#TD2# Outin is trying to trip Hooper. He has hold of a leg but Hooper is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Outin persists though and gets the takedown into guard.#SU2# Outin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# Outin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hooper to the mat! Hooper manages to get full guard. Outin is stalling in the full guard. Outin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Hooper looking for a guillotine here but Outin defends easily.
#SUB2# Outin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Outin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#T1##SUB# Hooper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

#SUB# Hooper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Outin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hooper is tightening it up a little... Outin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Outin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Outin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hooper!

#R1##CL# Kaarduu closes the distance and clinches.#TD# Kaarduu tightens his grip and picks Outin up, before dumping him to the ground. Outin manages to land in guard. Kaarduu working some strikes from top position. Kaarduu wants to control from the top but Outin keeps moving. Kaarduu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Outin's head. Kaarduu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.#ROC#Outin is rocked! Kaarduu arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Outin's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
